Not in Safford itself, but close by in Thatcher — the Mt. Graham Municipal Golf Course (4250 W Golf Course Road, Thatcher) offers a traditional 18-hole, par-72 course spanning over 6,300 yards. The lush greens feature stunning, unobstructed backdrops of Mount Graham and the Pinaleño mountain range. Confirm current-season hours directly with the course (928-428-2290).
