Absolutely. The Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area contains 23 miles of the Gila River and 15 miles of Bonita Creek. During the spring runoff, these waterways offer excellent, uncrowded opportunities for kayaking, rafting, and scenic float trips surrounded by buff-colored cliffs and shady cottonwood groves.
