The Gila Valley is located in southeastern Arizona’s Graham County, centered along U.S. Route 70. It anchors the towns of Safford, Thatcher, and Pima. From Phoenix, it is a 165-mile drive east via US-60 E to US-70 E (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours). From Tucson, it is a 125-mile drive northeast via I-10 E and US-191 N (approx. 2 hours).
